Our innovative nosebands are much like our popular Boca curb straps, crafted from our widely acclaimed, patent-pending design. they come in customizable options, including silicone beads (the Boca Elite) and steel beads (the Boca B Line) which will be releasing at a later date. Provide multiple point of contact and you can coordinate their colors with your curb straps for a cohesive look!
Maximizing the Boca Edge Noseband: Two Effective Uses
The Boca Edge Noseband offers versatility and can be utilized in two key ways to enhance your riding experience:
1. Enhanced Stability
When seeking greater stability, attach the Boca Edge to the top of your shank. This placement provides additional stability by keeping the cheek pieces on the bridle straight and directing the pull toward the horse’s poll. Positioned on the upper portion of the shank, the Boca Edge ensures that the bit remains upright at the corners of the mouth, rather than hanging loosely from the cheek pieces. This setup stabilizes the bit, maintaining its position until rein action is applied.
2. Increased Leverage and Control
Another powerful application of the Boca Edge Noseband is when your bit has a designated attachment point for a noseband, usually found in the center of the shank's purchase. Connecting the Boca Edge here increases leverage when rein pressure is applied, allowing the bit to engage more effectively. This configuration applies additional pressure to the horse's nose, encouraging greater collection and providing enhanced braking power.

Each noseband is crafted on durable waxed cable with two snaps at each end, measured to fit to most bits and horses, ensuring both comfort and ease of use.

- Encourages Bit Contact: Our noseband also helps to keep the horse's mouth from gaping, our noseband prevents evasion of the bit, ensuring better communication between horse and rider.
- Maintains Sensitivity and Control: The beads create multiple pressure points along the horse's nose, which enhances responsiveness. This is crucial for maintaining sensitive rein control during your rides.

However, the effectiveness of this stability ultimately depends on where it attaches to the bit, the rider’s control, as the rider’s hand will have more influence than any if the noseband is attached to a bit that has a designated place for a noseband, therefore, to add additional leverage.
